CITIZEN APPOINTMENT TO HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES BOARD

Port Washington, WI, July 21, 2017– Ozaukee County is actively recruiting to fill one opening on the Health and Human Service Board.

The Health and Human Service Board is a nine member Board consisting of five County Supervisors and four non-elected Ozaukee County citizens. Normal Board meetings occur monthly on the third Wednesday at 3:00 pm and last approximately two hours. Citizen Representatives with human services experience are encouraged to apply. The Health and Human Service Board recommends program priorities and county policies, identifies unmet service needs, and prepares short and long-term plans and budgets in conformance with appropriate State Statutes, County policies and budgets.

Applications will be accepted until the opening is filled.  Appointment is planned for the September 6th County Board Meeting
